i want everyone to know that this person is my hero, my mother is the greatest person i know and i love her more than anything, i am the protective one over my mama ill get mad if someone even looks at her the wrong way or a way i don’t like, if someone says something you best believe im going to walk up to them and ask them if they have a problem, we have been through so much and i would NEVER ask for my mama to be “normal” or at least what other people think is normal. my mama is perfect the way she is, she is the smartest person i know and growing up i always thought wow my mama is does all kinds of cool things, bet y’alls don’t do anything special ha, she is a wonderful mother and the most amazing writer and just so smart. she has raised my sister and i to be great young ladies, please help support her.
mama i love you more than anything and you know that. i don’t know what i would do without you, i’m your number one fan (:

My daughter Jessica goes to school with your daughter. I am also disabled. I want you to know that your daughter has talked to mine and it helped her understand that she is not the only one.

I have had the pleasure & privelege of living neighbors to Lisa & her family for the past 5 years. She is truly an amazing person with no self pity what ever. It is really something to see her at the computer. She types with a pencil held in both hands & operates the mouse with her feet. The mouse & pad are on the floor. Before her oldest daughter started driving & got her license, I would drive them places. She always wanted to pay me, but I declined & told her that since I’m computer illiterate (LOL) that I would be her driver & she could be my computer FIXER. She has done a great job of keeping it working like it should. She has taught me a lot. I don’t see her as handicapped at all. All my family just accepts her as another friend. She does things that will truly amaze you. I wish her the best with her book & look forward to a SIGNED COPY.
Love you Lisa & wish you all the best in having your book published.

Hi Lisa, you are a very inspiring woman and with so many great qualities, for someone to not let their disabilities get in the way of living your life to the fullest is a wonderful accomplishment. I would Love it if you would be will to share part of your story or experiences in my book? for example one of my chapters is on courage, along with Goals,Adversity Etc. if you would be willing to share that would be Great! I would Love to hear back from you. Thanks Lisa Lisa Brereton

Thank you! My son has CP, he is not quite 2, it is difficult to find good books about CP. I sent a request to all my facebook friends, I will continue to advocate for your book, as long as you advocate for those who appear to be different, but on the inside are so much the same!

YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!! Your story is very inspiring and hope you get a chance to tell it. I have a friend with MS and I had to rip a guy at the airport a new one one time and then write his bosses. Bet he won’t do that again.

I would love to read this book. Your words are so inspiring. I often pass by kids at the Jackson County High School that have disabilities and wish that I could do something for them, but all I can offer is a smile. I’m dating Heather Thomas and i’m sure that that you know her quite well. I would love to meet you. You seem like a very nice woman. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Best of luck with the book!
